No one would choose a friendless existence on condition of having all the other things in the world.

I don’t know if loneliness can cause acne, but I do know that being lonely can cause serious harm to your health.
I just started reading a book called Loneliness by John T. Cacioppo and William Patrick. Based on several decades of scientific research the authors (who are scientists themselves and have done these studies) say:
Social isolation has an impact on health comparable to the effect of high blood pressure, lack of exercise, obesity, or smoking. Our research in the past decade or so demonstrates that the culprit behind these dire statistics is not usually being literally alone, but the subjective experience known as loneliness.
This makes sense from an evolutionary perspective; when you think that survival often dependent on people sticking together – there is safety in numbers.
So what does this have to do with acne and getting clear?
Perhaps nothing, or perhaps a lot. I can’t say for now. But if you take the Clear for Life approach that improved physical and emotional health leads to clear skin, it’s not that far-fetched to think that loneliness could contribute to acne. At least it’s something to think about. Of course just getting rid of the feeling of loneliness is probably enough of a reason to do something about it.
I want to stress that the subjective feeling of loneliness is what matters more than whether you actually are alone or not. Perhaps you’ve sometimes felt alone in company? The authors point out that being who feel alone are on average spending no more time alone than people who don’t feel alone. And whether you feel lonely largely depends on how comfortable you are in your own skin. As Wayne Dryer points out:
You cannot be lonely if you like the person you’re alone with.

LoL! Don’t really know for sure if loneliness can actually cause acne, but being horny all the time might… especially if you have liver problems. Imbalanced hormones are known to cause acne.
